Crafted to Last Generations
We make products that are timeless so they can be with you and your family for many years to come. Our ethos is to match kitchen use with the most suitable timber for that purpose.
Every house has one. It brings back a sense of nostalgia of cooking in the kitchen with your parents or grandparents... and if you grew up in a Greek household, the wooden spoon was often both your friend and foe. But the best memories though, come from it being the key piece in making your favourite home-cooked meals. We've taken the same love your parents, grandparents and siblings put into their cooking and put it straight into our kitchenware.
We make products that are timeless so they can be with you and your family for many years to come. Our ethos is to match kitchen use with the most suitable timber for that purpose.
Each one of our timber products is unique as they are hand-crafted and organically shaped through our crafting process, based on the natural raw timber form as received.
we are committed to waste minimalisation and minimal environmental impact by recycle organic compostable waste and utilising even the smallest pieces of off cuts.
Our expertise has grown over the last 32 years with hardwood timber importation. We combine the skills of our small in-house team with quality timbers to deliver one of a kind products worth investing in. After researching, testing different species, we know we have provided our customers the most appropriate product for its end use. Go on, give us a stir.
No laminations - all of our timber products do not have any glues at all such as the commonly used, polyvinyl chlorides (PVA or PVC's) or urea formaldehydes. No adhesives are used and at TWK we only use solid wood.
All natural products - We don't use any synthetics when crafting our products. We are told that bamboo is the most eco-friendly chopping board or utensil to use, in reality, there are large amounts of electricity usage through presses and heat along with copious amounts of glue to turn the fibres of a cylindrical piece of bamboo, raw material into new shapes for the kitchen
Just remember, what you cut on, goes straight down the gob!
You can also ingest small amounts of some of the material that comprise the finished board. With our boards you don't need to worry about that!
