Excellent. Sturdy without being as heavy as it looks. Speaking of how it looks, it looks lovely. I lightly season mine with a dab of oil on a paper towel to give it that same dark sheen and smooth feel in the hand that it arrived with (not recommended if you aren’t regularly using, washing and reapplying. Choose your oils wisely).

I have a number of Wooden Koutali items, including several boards and spoons, and they are excellent quality and a pleasure to use. I feel happy using them in food preparation because they are made from solid, natural wood. I have also given the beautiful vases as gifts to a couple of friends, and they love them as decorative pieces in their homes.

Meet exactly my expectations. The packaging is also beautiful.
